About RAP Surveying
RAP Surveying is based in Muswellbrook. The work covers the Upper Hunter, the wider Hunter Valley, the Central West and parts of the North West.
Ross owns and operates the practice. Clients get a registered land surveyor on site, and the approach stays professional and personal. It is a small practice, about three people, which is how the surveyor stays on the job.
He started in 1994 in Scone, after a degree in Surveying at the University of Newcastle. On 17 November 2000 he was registered under the mentorship of the late Colin Murray and Gordon Boardman.
In 2004 he took on Boardman Peasley, formerly Gordon Boardman’s practice, and ran it for 12 years with a staff of about 15 in Muswellbrook. After selling that firm, and time as a senior registered surveyor with Newcastle practices, he started RAP Surveying.
More than 25 years of that career has been spent owning and running a surveying business, including property development, through R. A. Peasley Consulting Pty Ltd. He is also active in the NSW Country Surveyors Association.

Hourly rate or fixed price. Low overheads, and an experienced surveyor on site every time.
About six years on a Chamber of Commerce board, ten years on a race club board, and a directorship of a NSW registered club.
Modern gear, including a Trimble robotic total station and Trimble R8s GPS.
Service area
Most meetings are on the property. There is no shopfront, so the time and the cost stay on the survey. The same roads have been his working country since Scone in 1994.
